50+ Pilates Video Offers a Heart-to-Heart Workout for Mother's Day
QVC, the world's preeminent televised retailer showcased "Stefanie
Powers: POWERPILATES," a unique new workout video for people 50
+, starring some of America's most famous parents, the Silver Foxes,
tied-in with Mother's Day gift ideas. This video is the latest in
the highly successful series of Silver Foxes 50+ workout videos.
Jenny Crawford Moluf (Cindy's Mom) was on hand with Silver Foxes
founder David M. Krieff and fitness instructor Carroll Krieff to demonstrate
the benefits of an age-aware workout that brings about whole-life
transformation with just minutes a day. Distributed by Sony Home
Video, "POWERPILATES" retails for $19.98.
In this groundbreaking 50+ custom fitness video, based on the methods
of Joseph Pilates, Powers leads the entire cast of Silver Foxes
-- Nikki Robbins (Tony's Mom), Sal Pacino (Al's Dad), Jenny Crawford
Moluf (Cindy's Mom), Patsy Swayze (Patrick's Mom), Tony Tarantino
(Quentin's Dad) and Christine Johnson (Magic's Mom) - in a gentle,
yet strenuous total-body workout. "Whether they're playing sports
or just walking up the stairs, people always comment on what an
amazing difference they start to notice after the first few workouts,"
reports actress and lifelong dancer Stefanie Powers. "What makes
this system truly special is how it builds strength from the inside
out."
Focusing on alignment, breathing and heightened awareness of the
body's core fitness level, "POWERPILATES" encourages those 50+ to
find their own range of progress within the program, but also challenges
participants to build a new and powerful strong inner core by following
Stefanie and the Silver Foxes through the various Pilates-derived
back, leg, torso, arm and shoulder stretches. The attention to posture,
breathing and balance distinguish the program. It gives the gift
of both self-care and vibrant longevity.
"It is an indescribable feeling to get letters from people who have
thanked the Silver Foxes for improving and even saving their lives.
People seem to relate well to the celebrity parents as extensions
of themselves and their own families," noted David Krieff, whose
own grandfather, Morris, (now 100 years old) inspired the Silver
Foxes concept. "This human connection makes the science more understandable
and opens the window to positive transformation."
