Inspired by his vibrant
grandfather Morris, David M. Kreiff founded the Silver Foxes fifteen years
ago based on the premise that age and vitality are not mutually exclusive
and that agelessness is possible. He foresaw the coming of the Baby
Boomers into this market segment and realized the whole idea of aging was
about to be reinvented. In acknowledging the vibrancy of people 50+, David
conceptualized bringing together some of America's Most Famous Parents to
symbolize the remarkable lifestyles of people in the 50+ range.
The original Silver Foxes were Harry Hoffman (Dustin's Dad), Sal Pacino (Al's Dad), Jackie
Stallone (Sly's Mom), Pauline Fawcett (Farrah's Mom), Shirley Simmons
(Richard's Mom). Later came Laurie Williams (Robin's Mom). The first two
Silver Foxes Shape Up America fitness videos became best sellers.
Ten years later, The
Silver Foxes have garnered worldwide recognition and admiration for their
total commitment to 50+ health. The Silver Foxes for the new millennium
include Sal Pacino, Christine Johnson (Magic's Mom), Jenny Crawford Moluf
(Cindy's Mom), Nikki Robbins (Tony's Mom), Patsy Swayze (Patrick's Mom),
Tony Tarantino (Quentin's Dad). David got them all together to create a
groundbreaking 50+ Pilates video led by long-time dancer/revered actress
Stefanie Powers. Based on these remarkable Silver Fox developments, one can
only marvel at the perspicacity of their founder and President David M.
Krieff.
Born in New York in 1960 and raised in Miami, David graduated from the University of Florida with a
telling double major of Advertising and Psychology, and received Cum Laude
distinction. His path into the business of entertainment was a natural fit
with his unique innate ability to bring diverse groups of people together
to create the kind of synergy and momentum necessary to launch ambitious
projects.
The first of which came
about when he co-founded a PR and marketing firm, where he found himself
with such blue chip entertainment clients
as Miami Vice (NBC),
The Bee Gees, and Burger King. His first foray into the business was
through sponsorship-driven entertainment/sports projects.
In the past 15 years,
David has worked with powerhouse entertainment entities NBC, ESPN, Disney,
Universal Pictures, Paramount, CBS, FOX, and Warner Brothers, to bring some
of the most unusual and leading-edge independent film and television
projects to audiences worldwide.
With Olympic figure
skating champion Scott Hamilton, David jointly produced a first-of-its-kind
battle of the sexes on ice series for network. This foray led him to
accomplish the near-impossible task of orchestrating a heart-to-heart
interview between women's skating archrivals Tonya Harding and Nancy
Kerrigan as part of a skating special which he executive produced. Once
again, David's ability to bring people together triumphed.
His skating
extravaganzas have been highest-rated in their category, and led to Ice
Angel, a Family Channel favorite movie (starring Nicholle Tom, Tara
Lipinski, Nancy Kerrigan, and Alan Thicke) that David executive produced.
These outright, quantifiable smash hits have proven that David Krieff not
only brings people together for ambitious endeavors, but that these
endeavors have real and quantifiable success that is reflective of his
impeccable business acumen.
Other projects over the
years have led him to work with such talent as Andre Agassi, Marina Hingis,
Michael Jackson, Cindy Crawford, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Van Halen, Ice-T,
Courtney Love, Rodney Dangerfield and Madonna. This year he will be putting
together golf luminary Tiger Woods with LPGA champion Annika Sorenstam for
a Disney special.
Regardless of his many
projects, David Krieff remains personally and passionately committed to the
mission inspired by his grandfather's amazingly able longevity: The Silver
Foxes. This year the Foxes will travel the country in support of the
health and well being of 50+ Americans and 50+ people all over the world.
While David is avid
tennis player, marathon runner, Horseman, amateur golfer, and
Harley-Davidson devotee, he still marvels at the boundless energy and
mental acuity of his grandpa Morris, who, at 100, still drives a car.
Now married and the
father of three, Silver Foxes founder and President David M. Krieff looks
forward to the day that he can claim Silver Fox status and be a
card-carrying member of the largest-growing and most vital part of the
American population. Parenting for a lifetime is what The Silver Foxes are
all about. |
